Our two current principal training and fire risk assessment specialists are:

Mike Yates M.I.Fire.E. (Member of the Institution of Fire Engineers)

Mike is the Managing Director and Principal Architect of our company.

During his long Fire Service career, twelve years was served as a Specialist Fire Safety Enforcement Officer, where he managed to gain a studied and knowledgeable insight into the fire safety industry.

Being at the cutting edge of fire safety legal enforcement, he regularly made calculated decisions regarding the best methods to be employed to comply with fire safety regulations. He achieved this by reference to the most modern codes of practice at the time, his practical on site experience and a high degree of common sense.

Mike is a Member of the Institution of Fire Engineers. This qualification is recognized as the foremost fire safety industry qualification both at home and abroad, and being also the pre-requisite for senior officer grade within most British Fire Brigades.

Mike has other officer qualifications but most importantly, he has successfully completed the most advanced fire prevention course at the Fire Service College, Moreton in the Marsh.

Anthony Leonard

Tony is a recently retired Fire Prevention Officer with a wealth of knowledge within the Fire Safety industry.

Tony has been newly appointed to our management team to co-ordinate fire risk assessment work and to evaluate training projects.

His tasks also include: direct liaison with clients, technical research projects and client user friendly reports.

He also has a supervisory role with regard to company appointed fire risk assessors: dealing directly with both inspection and report standards.
