Who should attend?

All officially nominated fire marshals/wardens: within a low to normal fire risk working environment. (Modern UK Fire Regulations)
All members of management who are designated fire marshals/wardens.

Standard Course: 003: Duration: 2 hours 30 minutes — 3 hours: morning or afternoon.

The Basic Fundamentals: 005. A shortened version of the standard course: 2 hours approximately

The Aim

This training is designed to enable candidates to fully understand the duties of a modern fire marshal by virtue of the requirements of the fire regulations and the duty of care requirements of the workplace. Candidates will gain sufficient knowledge to enable management to rely upon their commitment and judgment within a carefully planned fire action procedure.

Extinguisher instruction and training: additional charges to be made.

During instruction, several participates are invited to operate the extinguishers fully.

All persons are clearly given instruction as to “how to operate each type of extinguisher”. When to use an extinguisher: and the limitations of workplace extinguishers.

All officially nominated fire marshals/wardens for a normal to high risk working environment.
All members of management required to be fire marshals/wardens.
Specialist members of staff or employees with hazardous tasks.
Security staff and night staff.
Staff with responsibility for sleeping risks.

The Full Course: 004: including practical hands on extinguisher usage in a controlled training environment; using environmentally friendly gas rig and fully trained operative(s).

004: Long half day from 0900hours to 1330 hours: or Short full day: 1100hours to 1300hours and 1400 hours to 1530 hours.
